3 years ago, we made the decision to become more than a farm market. We built three off-grid micro cabins (100 sq ft), tucked each into their own private spots, on what would have otherwise been unusable land.
Being avid world travellers, we believed that we could turn what we learned from our adventures into a business. Our type of travel is that of being respectful of the communities we visit and the lands we travel on, it's being adventurous and curious, it's wanting to see and do things that are different from the 'tourist trail'. It's engaged travel.
In our second year, we added amenities and expanded our offering - we had the desire to make our guest's stays even more delightful.
We are not ones to sit idle and be content, so once again over the winter of 2025 and 2026, we are adding even more features to our cabins.
We know we can't be everything to everyone but we also know that we can continue to build our guest experience. Our reviews to date have been stellar, we want to keep them that way.
We also know that we are not the perfect accommodation for every guest. We are not best suited for someone looking for a a hotel bed for a night. What we are for is the adventurer who wants to go to the doorstep of the backcountry, hear the wind rush through the trees and experience the dark sky nights.
If you can see yourself cooking a meal in your private cookshed, sitting under the stars or having a hot, mountain spring shower, we think our accommodations might be for you.
And, so here we are today. Three years later in 2026. We are excited to share our little corner of the world with you!
